Xu Yanqiang checks meteorological equipment 90 plus kilometers away from Guaizihu national reference climatological station in Ejin Qi in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, April 27, 2019. Xu Yanqiang, 52, the only senior engineer at Guaizihu national reference climatological station in Ejin Qi of Inner Mongolia, has been working here for about ten years. Located in the center of desert, the meteorological station is with limited conditions. Tough environment has made Xu an expert in various fields, such as greenhouse planting, poultry cultivation and equipment repair.
