Tourists visit the Lijiang ancient town in southwest China's Yunnan Province, April 22, 2019. According to local authority, tourism started to heat up when a faster train service was launched between Lijiang and provincial capital Kunming in early 2019. During the first season, Lijiang welcomed 12.325 million arrivals and saw a total revenue of 25.637 billion yuan, up 21.5 percent and 15.13 percent respectively than the previous year.
