TIANJIN, Feb. 3 (Xinhua) -- A passenger charter flight between Tianjin Municipality of China and Nadi of Fiji has started, according to Tianjin Binhai International Airport.

The flight was launched by Fiji Airways. It takes about 11.5 hours to fly from Tianjin to Nadi. The plane is an Airbus A330-400 with 307 seats.

Fiji Airways has not launched regular passenger flight in China, but it has started charter flights in Tianjin and Hangzhou to meet high tourist demand.

Fiji is the third South Pacific tourist destination launching passenger charter flight in Tianjin, following Tahiti and New Caledonia, according to the airport.
